Lake Geneva, WI – Kisses from Keegan and Friends, a local pediatric cancer foundation, recently received a donation from The Lake Geneva Jaycees.
The Lake Geneva Jaycees, a nonprofit focused on community service and making a difference, gifted the $2,200 donation. The funds were used to purchase tents to bring to children undergoing treatment, offering them a place to escape and find comfort in the hospital setting.
“You should see their faces light up when we bring these tents to the hospital. Not only do the kids that are suffering use them, but their brothers and sisters do when they come to visit,” said Paul Denecke. Paul was inspired to start Kisses from Keegan and Friends when his daughter won her battle with pediatric cancer.
